Coin Strike
Coin Strike is one of those games you pick up for five minutes and then look up an hour later. You drag back, aim, and flick a coin across a tabletop-style board, trying to clear stacks of targets before you run out of shots. The physics feel just tactile enough — coins spin, ricochet off the rails, and occasionally do something wonderfully unexpected that saves a level you thought was lost.
Control is entirely one-thumb, which is what makes it such a good phone game. There's a subtle aiming line that fades as levels get harder, so later stages lean on your own read of the angles. The difficulty curve is gentle at first and then gets genuinely clever, throwing in moving targets and boards that reset if you're too slow.
What won us over was the tone. There's no clutter, no timers screaming at you, just clean levels and a satisfying clack every time a coin lands right. It's the kind of design where less really is more, and after a week of testing nobody on the team wanted to delete it.
What we liked
- One-thumb controls that feel great
- Physics that reward precise angles
